Londo Forest is not a place people choose to enter. On maps, it appears as nothing more than a stretch of woodland, its borders unclear and its interior undocumented. It is not recognized as a settlement, nor listed as a region of importance. Yet everyone in Orendon knows of its existence because people enter it, and they do not return. Londo is not an escape. It offers no refuge, unlike Drenn. Those who end up here do not arrive by intent. They are driven out, taken, or simply lose their way. Some are quietly removed from Velarium, others disappear from Ordo, and some vanish while crossing the mountain paths. Officially, they are not declared dead. Their traces are simply severed.

Within the forest, there are many captives. They are not locked behind walls or bound in chains. Londo’s method is simpler: there is no exit. Paths shift, clearings collapse, and directions betray themselves. Those who attempt to flee find themselves drawn deeper inside. Resistance fades. Movement slows. The forest does not pursue it waits.

Only four individuals truly know Londo. They are not guards, and they are not saviors. They have become part of the forest’s function. Their role is not to protect those within, but to maintain balance. When the number of captives grows too large, some are removed. How this happens is unknown. What is known is that the count never exceeds what Londo can contain.

The forest forces one act above all else: forgetting. Names lose meaning. Histories dissolve. Identity erodes slowly but completely. Those trapped within Londo remain alive, yet no longer themselves. Few ever leave, and those who do are dismissed—their accounts considered fractured, unreliable, or false.

Both Velarium and Ordo are aware that something occurs within Londo Forest. Disappearances follow patterns. Silences accumulate. Testimonies contradict each other. Still, no proof is ever found. Londo does not conceal itself. It simply leaves nothing behind.

Londo Forest is one of Orendon’s greatest burdens. Justice is not carried out here. Judgment is not delivered. People are not ended they are kept. And for this reason, Londo is not a place. It is an unresolved problem.
