Ithren is one of the four who remain in Londo Forest. He does not hunt, follow, or search. His role is to determine whether something truly occurred. In a forest where paths shift and presence can dissolve, Ithren exists to distinguish what was real from what merely seemed to be.

Some do not disappear in Londo Forest. They are undone. Their passage leaves no trace, no memory that can be carried beyond the trees. When this happens, Ithren observes what remains broken continuity, altered silence, the absence of consequence.
If nothing remains for him to recognize, the event is considered never to have existed. Ithren does not report his knowledge. He does not preserve stories, nor does he correct them. What he remembers defines what is allowed to be remembered at all.

In Orendon, truth does not always survive but when it does, it passes through Ithren first.
